Oak House

Oak House is a spacious, detached, Grade 2 listed Georgian house with a large enclosed, mature, rear garden in St. Leonard’s Road, Exeter. There is a range of shops in Magdalen Road known as “The Village”. There is a frequent bus service which passes through St. Leonard’s Road to service the Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital and links up with the Bus and Rail Stations. There are various Doctor's Surgeries nearby and easy access to the CoE St. Leonard’s Church or other religious churches such as the Roman Catholic Church in South Street or The Mint Methodist Church in Fore Street, Exeter. The eleven single bedrooms are tastefully decorated to accentuate the “home from home” atmosphere and are fully equipped along with stair-lift access to the upper floor. Residents are encouraged to bring personal items to maintain the vital link with their own home. For the same reason, visitors are enthusiastically encouraged at any reasonable time and it is our wish to work very closely with relatives to ensure their dependent’s needs are fully met.

A Statement of Purpose, Service User's Guide and most recent Inspection Report (when available) can be downloaded from the Downloads section of the Home page which will give you fuller details.
